Breeches & Jodhpurs are made for the English equestrian. Breeches & Jodhpurs are similar in that both styles protect the legs while allowing the rider to stay in the saddle safely and communicate with the horse comfortably. Breeches are made in a wide range of fashionable colors and designs, in either full seat or knee patch styles, with elastic cuffs or Velcro fasteners at the bottom. Full seat breeches, popular with dressage riders, feature material with grip from the knee, up the thigh, and across the back allowing for a settled seat. Knee patch breeches, popular among hunter/jumpers as well as some endurance riders, are made with grip inside the knee. Both types of breeches are commonly worn with a tall boot. Jodhpurs are full-length riding pants that end with a cuff at the ankle. Typically the jodhpur is worn casually for lessons or trail riding with a short paddock boot.
