This saddle is great for the price. It does not require much care and is light and comfortable for me and my horse. I use it for flatwork, trail riding and jumping. I have ridden in a Wintec 500 and 2000 and have found that this saddle is not much different from the 500. The 2000 is nicer, but I guess that is where the price difference comes in!

This is a good saddle if you're completely broke, and if you don't have at least $800 to $1000 to spend definately choose this over a leather saddle in that price range. It beats a poorly made leather saddle any day, but it's not a great saddle. It might work for somebody just starting out, but if I were you I'd save up for the Wintec 2000 or Wintec Pro models which are much nicer.
