The gullet is just the very front part of the saddle and is only one of the factors affecting saddle fit. The shape of the panels and the tree also are important factors. For example, the Wintec Pro dressage does not fit my horse as well as the Wintec Isabell dressage, even though both had the medium-narrow gullet in them.
