The Rhino® Pony Wug waterproof turnout blanket has a unique neck design for pony owners that want more protection without using a neck cover. The Wug design produces a collar or scarf like effect, which reduces heat loss and prevents rain and snow from entering the front of the rug and creeping down the back. Horseware's Rhino® Waterproof Turnouts have a durable 1000 denier Rip Stop Polypropylene outer shell and a silky smooth nylon lining. The fiber fill keeps your pony warmer longer. The waterproofing is on the inside! Horseware's Rhino® Pony Wug features our patented Front Leg Arches™, Euro-Cut, no slip design with belly surcingles and tail strap to keep this durable and well fit turnout in place. FITTING YOUR PONY’S BLANKET

The fit of your blanket is extremely important to the comfort of your pony. An improperly fitted blanket can cause rubbing and slippage. To determine what size Rhino® blanket your pony needs, measure the distance from the center of the chest to the center of the tail. Horseware Rhino® blankets are sized in three-inch increments, so you will need to choose the closest size available.

CARE OF YOUR PONY’S BLANKET

To keep your blanket as comfortable as possible for your pony and to maximize the blanket’s life, we recommend that you clean your blanket annually. First, remove excess dirt from the outside of the blanket with a brush and hose. The blanket can then be washed either by hand, or on a delicate cycle with cool water in a commercial washer. Use only very mild soap. Horseware® recommends Rambo® Rug Wash, an environmentally friendly product for use on synthetic fabrics. Rambo® Rug Wash will effectively remove dirt without damaging the waterproof coating. When the blanket has been washed, allow to drip dry and ensure that the blanket is thoroughly dry before storage. Do not put your horse’s blanket in the dryer or wash with hot water. Do not store your pony’s blanket if damp or wet. This will damage the waterproof coating and void any warranties. In the unlikely event that your horse blanket should become nicked or damaged due to horse abuse Horseware® recommends Rambo® Stormsure to contain and waterproof the nicks that your blanket may get through the years.
