These were my first pair of half chaps. After more than a year of riding (the last 6-8 months of which I was riding several times per week) these chaps were still holding strong. Zippers were intact, stiching held, etc. I was hoping they would break down so I could justify a new pair, but they still held strong. I finally gave up and bought the new ones (custom leather) and still use these as back up when needed! Great value for the price!

A great, low-cost alternative to leather half-chaps, suitable for students and occasional riders of all ages. Also great for those on riding vacations since these half-chaps are machine-washable; they won't dirty-up everything in your suitcase! They are well-constructed, with sturdy zippers and stitching. Nice color selection, too!
